Water is a can and a pond
The watering can is somewhere in the botanical garden, not a shop tutorial. A pond fills it. A smaller water source can look right and still be the wrong interaction. Water the seedlings you actually planted. Skipping a day is how a quest that wants clippings stalls while you run errands in town.
Rain is a real song effect — official copy says songs can summon clouds and rain, and that this helps the garden. The spell’s menu name is not confirmed, so this page will not tell you which flute track to pin for weather. Until that name is in the songbook, use the can.
What the seed shop is for
After the first basil, the town seed shop is where a scythe and more packets live. Chamomile, marjoram, sunflower, spring tuber, rhubarb, and tulip packets have all shown up as purchases or quest seeds in play. That is not a catalog. Prices, grow times, and season locks are TBA. Buy what your log names, and do not copy a price table from an unverified wiki.
An early skill can drop extra seeds when you harvest, and another line can mail seeds twice a month. Those are license-tree perks, not shop stock. See skills before you spend the point on a perk your bed does not need. If the bar is empty every morning, mana is the perk. If you are short on packets, the seed perk is the one that matches this page.
